Grants

   The World Bank provides financial support in the form of grants. The purpose of grants is to promote the development of projects by promoting innovation, cooperation between organizations and the participation of local stakeholders to work on projects. In recent years, IDA grants, funded directly or managed through partnerships, used in the following order:

         Debt relief for heavily indebted

         Improved sanitation and water services

         Support for immunization and vaccination programs with aim of reducing the incidence of communicable diseases such as malaria

         The fight against HIV / AIDS

         Support for civil society organizations

         Create incentives for reducing emissions of greenhouse gases
